Our inpatient general medical floor is a dynamic and compassionate care environment dedicated to supporting patients through a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions. The unit brings together an interdisciplinary team of nurses, physicians, nursing assistants, therapists, case managers, and support staff who work collaboratively to provide safe, patient centered care focused on healing, comfort, and recovery. 6 North General medical is often characterized by strong teamwork, meaningful patient connections, and commitment to clinical excellence. Staff members care for patients with diverse medical needs while fostering an atmosphere of respect, dignity, and compassion to make a positive impact through skilled clinical care, emotional support, patient education, and advocacy. Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates patient care, assessment, education, triage and various other nursing interventions
• Collaborates with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care
• Empathetically cares for patients during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up along the continuum of care
• Demonstrates competency and uses comprehensive nursing expertise

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred. Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
