Job Overview As a Van Driver, you will safely transport clients to and from programs while following all traffic laws, ensuring the vehicle is clean and well maintained, and supervising passengers to promote a secure environment. Program Information The Partial Care program assists individuals with severe and persistent mental illness to develop essential life skills in a group setting, fostering maximum independence with minimal intervention. Key Responsibilities Safely transport clients to and from the program, observing all traffic regulations. Plan, schedule, and route trips efficiently. Maintain van upkeep to ensure reliability and cleanliness. Supervise passengers during transport to maintain a safe and supportive environment. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Sensitivity, flexibility, and responsiveness to diverse client needs, including gender, race, ethnicity, socio‑economic status, religion, age, sexual orientation, and other special considerations. Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Good communication skills for telephone calls. Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed. Additional Information Hourly Rate: $15.92 Sign‑on Bonus: $200 Schedule: Afternoons and Evenings Bilingual Incentive: Additional $1.50 per hour if Spanish proficient.
