Occupational Therapist – OT

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and serving as a resource in the therapy department.

Description:

Occupational therapy (OT) is an allied health profession that involves the therapeutic use of everyday activities, or occupations, to treat the physical, mental, developmental, and emotional ailments that impact a patient's ability to perform daily tasks. The responsibilities of Physical Therapist include (but are not limited to):

• Evaluating a patient's condition and needs
• Developing treatment plans to address a patient's needs and help them meet specific goals
• Assessing a patient's home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patient's needs and improve independence
• Training patients and their caregivers to use special equipment
• Assessing and documenting progress for evaluation, billing, and reporting purposes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed in KY.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to provide direct and supervised patient care.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles across the lifespan.
• Familiarity with standards of care for inpatients and outpatients.
