Commercial Procurement Supervisor (Canada, Geely Auto)

Responsibilities

1.Procurement

• Identify cost reduction opportunities

• Mitigate supplier cost uplift requests

• Drive service supply improvements

• Ensure superior delivery performance from our supply base

• Support adherence of supplier quality process requirements

• Execute timely new part and service sourcing, including marketing-related procurement (e.g., advertising, events, digital campaigns)

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies

• Lead supplier management and engagement

2.Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with various departments, including marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance, to ensure procurement strategies align with company objectives

• Linkage with other functional areas to ensure leveraged spend and optimized supplier management

3.Performance Monitoring

• Analyze supplier performance and cost data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of Purchasing experience, ideally including marketing and service procurement

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive as needed

• Strong data analysis, comparison, and application skills to support procurement decisions

• Track record in managing complex commodities or services and delivering optimized cost solutions
