Job Description Job Description Description: Visionix USA, a leader in vision care innovation, is seeking a talented Repair Supervisor with an engineering background and medical equipment knowledge to oversee the Service Repair Team in our Lombard, IL Location. Requirements: What you will do: You will bring a thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software principles as they apply to the repair and maintenance of medical equipment. Supervises Repair Technicians; coordinates and schedules Technician work schedules; communicates repair plans to Technicians; monitors Technician productivity and repair quality. Provides coaching and feedback to individual Technicians and/or Team; provides performance reviews and opportunities for professional growth. Participates in continuous improvement activities by reviewing, changing, and improving processes. Monitors the status of open repairs with technicians; addresses issues that impact the completion of the repair plan. Confer with other Company personnel, as appropriate, to resolve service incidents or issues in a timely manner. Skill and Competencies Required: Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent field with a minimum 5 years of field service technician experience or working in an inhouse service repair department with a minimum 2 years in a supervisory/managerial capacity, or equivalent education and experience required. Extensive knowledge of KPI’s and reporting. Strong level of relevant work experience in a technical field, including team leadership experience, is required. Advanced analytical, problem-solving and Excel skills. Advanced interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required to communicate with management, employees, and/or customers. Working knowledge of SAP ERP system. Mentoring, coaching, and employee development Analytical & Critical Thinking Customer Relationship Management Performance Tracking Data Analysis Creating Metrics and Reporting Time Management Developing, writing and documenting processes Knowledgeable of Good Manufacturing Practices in an ISO environment.
