Legal Assistant Paralegal

Job Description

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of Florida litigation procedures and deadlines.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Must be a problem solver
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be comfortable with using/learning new software and technologies

Duties include:

• Coordinating Hearings, Depositions & Mediations
• Medical Records and Public Records Requests
• Filing
• Drafting/Preparing/Serving Discovery Requests and Responses
• Draft and Serve Subpoenas
• Drafting/Formatting/Editing/Combining Exhibits
• Organize documents responsive to subpoena
• Schedule Hearings/Upload Documents/Upload Orders to CourtMap, Broward CMS etc.
• Must be comfortable with and amenable to training on artificial intelligence processes
• Implement artificial intelligence into case presentation and detailed analysis
• Trial Prep
• Organize Hearing Exhibits
• Federal Filing Experience
• Send documents to Process Server for Service
• Prepare Hearing Binders
• Calendaring Deadlines
• Set up Zoom links
• Online Notary (will train and license)
• Spanish is preferred, but not required
