Compensation: $1,000 – $2,400 per month
Location: Camp Stanislaus – Bay St. Louis, MS

Camp Stanislaus, located along the stunning Gulf Coast in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, has been shaping young lives since 1928. Operated in partnership with the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, our mission is to help campers build independence, foster friendships, develop social skills, and grow in a supportive, Christian environment. We offer both day and resident camp programs for boys and girls ages 8–15.

Role Overview:
As a Camp Counselor, you will be a key part of creating a safe, fun, and inspiring camp experience. You’ll live alongside campers, lead activities, and act as a positive role model, encouraging personal growth and teamwork. This is a hands-on, rewarding role where your energy, creativity, and leadership make a real impact. Many of our counselors return year after year because of the incredible experience and bonds formed.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide campers in daily activities, both on and off-site
• Serve as a positive Christian role model and mentor
• Lead and facilitate games, sports, arts & crafts, and other camp programs
• Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times
• Support camper development, encouraging independence, teamwork, and personal growth
• Assist with camp logistics, setup, and cleanup as needed
• Communicate effectively with campers, fellow counselors, and camp leadership

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Energetic, responsible, and compassionate with children
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Comfortable with outdoor activities and flexible work hours
