ELECTRICIAN LEADER (EXPERT) in Spring Valley

Job Overview You will serve as an ELECTRICIAN LEADER (EXPERT) in the DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY, working at Portsmouth, Puget Sound, Norfolk, or Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyards and the Intermediate Maintenance Facility. Applicants are considered only for positions within their own UIC. Responsibilities Lead a team of electricians to complete assignments on schedule. Repair, overhaul, install, modify, calibrate, and test electrical systems and equipment on naval surface ships and submarines. Operate and troubleshoot equipment used to manufacture and overhaul ship components. Requirements Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be deemed suitable for federal employment. Must participate in the direct‑deposit payroll program. New employees must pass the E‑Verify check. Must comply with the DoD 5 U.S.C. 3326 retirement provisions. Qualifications Applicants must demonstrate the level of knowledge, skills, and experience necessary for the duties. Qualification emphasis is on quality of experience, not duration.
