Senior Credit Underwriter

Manages a portfolio of clients supporting underwriting and/or monitoring requirements of varying degrees complexity Independently works with Relationship Management, Credit and Risk teammates to understand structuring needs and requirements Delivers collateral, loan structure and other analyses to team members to support the loan decision‑making process Reviews work of junior teammates to provide feedback/coaching and ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations and policy procedure Has credit approval for certain credit actions Leads collateral monitoring, loan structure conversations and completion of loan documentation with internal/external legal partners Requirements 3+ years of solid experience in Commercial Banking (Middle Market or Large Corporate or Leveraged Finance) underwriting, performing financial analysis, structuring, and portfolio management Strong communication and analytical/technical skills, including financial accounting, modeling and loan structuring. Strong experience monitoring and analyzing changes in transactions and portfolios over time, including identifying trends or issues that may impact credit quality. Strong experience reconciling financial statements and supporting documentation, investigating discrepancies or unusual activity and ensuring reporting complies with credit agreements. Strong experience communicating directly with borrowers to clarify data and resolve issues and requesting additional reporting or backup documentation as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
