What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
- Assess patient needs, vitals, and medical history before procedures
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses during and after procedures
- Educate patients and families about procedures, care, and post-care instructions
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain documentation and report patient changes or concerns promptly
- Adhere to all safety protocols, policies, and standards of care
What You Need
- Current Louisiana RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- At least 2 years of experience in endoscopy, gastroenterology, or similar setting (preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment
