MLR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our client's esteemed hospital near Sheridan, TX. This is a full-time, permanent, direct-hire position at a healthcare facility renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional medical services to the community.

Key Responsibilities for Medical Technologists:

• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient specimens to aid in diagnosing and treating medical conditions.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
• Shifts Available: Nights and Days!
• Analyze test results and deliver accurate reports to healthcare providers.
• Adhere to established protocols to uphold quality control and ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and maintain precise records of tests and results.
• Stay informed on advancements in medical technology and laboratory practices through ongoing education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical laboratory environment.
• Proficiency in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, immunology, and various lab tests.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
