Deputy General Counsel

As a full-time remote Deputy General Counsel and Chief Regulatory Counsel, the successful candidate will serve as a senior legal advisor, focusing on government contracts, emerging technologies, and regulatory matters to support business growth and governance initiatives. Key responsibilities Advise on government contracting, technology, regulatory, and commercial matters while developing practical legal guidance for emerging technologies Build and implement processes for negotiating and complying with government contracts, while managing legal and business risks Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to provide business-oriented legal advice and lead legal talent development Required qualifications Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law Minimum of ten years of experience in a large law firm or corporate in-house legal department, focusing on government contracting and regulatory matters Strong understanding of legal issues related to AI, data governance, and cybersecurity Experience with U.S. government contracts, including negotiation and compliance Ability to influence stakeholders and advise senior leaders in complex situations
