This role is for a licensed electrician who installs, maintains, and repairs electrical systems in commercial buildings, ensuring safe and reliable power distribution across large-scale projects such as offices, retail spaces, warehouses, and universities.

• Install electrical systems and components in commercial buildings, including offices, retail spaces, warehouses, and university facilities.
• Maintain existing electrical systems to ensure consistent, safe, and efficient operation across large-scale construction projects.
• Repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and related equipment in commercial environments.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues in commercial settings, accurately diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions.
• Interpret and follow electrical drawings, plans, and specifications for new installations and upgrades.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Identify potential electrical hazards and take proactive steps to prevent accidents and equipment damage.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and other trades to coordinate electrical work on large-scale projects.
• Document work performed, including repairs, installations, and inspections, in a clear and accurate manner.
• Use appropriate tools, equipment, and testing devices to verify proper operation of electrical systems.

• Valid electrician license with demonstrated experience in commercial electrical work.
• Strong ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial settings such as offices, retail spaces, and warehouses.
• Proficient understanding of electrical codes and standards relevant to commercial installations.
• Solid knowledge of electrical safety practices and procedures on construction sites and in occupied facilities.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects and complex commercial electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Effective troubleshooting skills to diagnose electrical issues and determine appropriate repair methods.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a project team in fast-paced environments.

• Experience with electrical installations in universities, office buildings, and warehouse environments.
• Familiarity with commercial construction processes and coordination with other trades.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Good communication skills to interact with project teams and stakeholders.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities on large projects.

The role is based in commercial and large-scale construction environments, including warehouses, universities, and office buildings. The position involves working in a variety of indoor areas, some of which may be under construction, with adherence to all site safety protocols and guidelines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Martinsburg, WV.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
