Core Competencies/Strengths

· Experience and knowledge of Trade law, specifically experience with Made in USA/Assembled in USA standards, Buy American Act, BABA, TAA, USMCA, IRA, FHA, OBBA, and Clean Energy Tax Credits.

· Experience in Solutions Projects and EPC with deep background in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial terms of related solutions agreements, on both the domestic and international level.

· Demonstrated mastery of substantive U.S. legal concepts pertaining to commercial contracts and business development, including sophisticated understanding and drafting skills around warranties, remedies, indemnities, limitations of liability, product liability, logistics & transportation, export compliance, intellectual property rights, etc.

· Experience in M&A transactions a plus.

· Interest in broad product lines in emerging technologies, power electronics, and/or other subjects relevant to Delta’s product portfolio.

· Strong legal research and writing skills.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

· Ability to provide clear and concise business-oriented legal advice.

· Must provide timely status updates to your manager and the product team leaders you would support.

· A strong desire to solve problems, with a balanced focus on both legal and business concerns.

· Enthusiasm for positive and respectful relationships, both internally and externally.

· Capacity to work independently, as well as part of a team.

Additional Expertise

· Mandarin, Spanish and/or Portuguese language fluency is a plus.

Required Qualifications

· JD Degree from an accredited U.S. law school.

· Membership in good standing with at least one State Bar.

· Minimum 7 years of relevant U.S. legal in-house and/or law firm experience.
