The work location for this position is at one elementary school location in the metro Phoenix area and occasional meetings on the ASU Tempe campus.Disney Musicals in Schools is a free after-school program offered to a limited number of Title I elementary schools. Through the 17-week program, Disney Musicals in Schools Teaching Artist Aides guide school team of teachers through the process of producing a musical at their school using the Disney Musicals in Schools training model. The goal is to provide the training necessary for teachers and schools to be able to continue a theatre program for years to come. In early March, the DMIS schools perform on the ASU Gammage stage in the Student Share Celebration.
