TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Reston, Virginia, 20190!

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid RN license Certifications: ACLS required Must-Have: 1-2 years of experience with fresh cardiac surgery patients and direct primary recovery Advanced skills in ACLS, balloon pump, Impella training, and hemosphere or acumen trained Description: The position requires working in a unit with 4 patient beds. Patient ratios are 1:1 for immediate post-surgical patients and 1:2 for patients on post-operative day 1 to 3. Staffing includes primary nursing with unit secretaries and tech availability. Documentation is managed through Meditech Expanse. The schedule consists of 36 hours, with 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks. Floating policies will maintain the same patient ratio as the unit floated to. Candidates must meet specific patient experience requirements. New cardiac surgery procedures will be performed on this unit. The unit is being launched with new technologies. Applicants are encouraged to consider the great teamwork environment and advanced equipment in place. All employees are expected to adhere to the required dress code of navy blue uniforms.
