Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, three community hospitals and the regions largest multispecialty group. Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate. We are seeking an experienced Academic Rheumatologist Physician to join our organization.

Position Highlights -

• Join our growing Rheumatology division, consisting of 3 MDs and strong support staff.
\n
• Baystate Medical Center is the regions only level 1 trauma center and major referral care center for Rheumatology. Candidates will have the ability to practice collaboratively within the Dept. of Medicine seeing a diverse patient population consisting of all ages.
\n
• Enjoy your work/life balance as we offer a Monday Friday 8am 5pm schedule. Rotational call schedule as needed.
\n
• Faculty appointment to UMass Chan Medical School - Baystate with time for clinical innovation, educational program development, teaching, and research.  Ability to participate in conferences and lectures, teach our Internal Medicine and Med-Peds residents.
\n
• Opportunity to lead and grow our developing Rheumatology Fellowship program for those with educational experience.
\n

Qualifications: ABMS BE/BC in Rheumatology. Ideal candidates will have experience in educational program development and translational research.

\n

The compensation ranges in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range.  Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidates relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range.  Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.

Rheumatology: $244,625 - $358,000

\n
