Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $1,854 per week

Job Details Travel Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit, Lakewood, Colorado. Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week 12‑hour night shifts Travel nursing assignment Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined. TotalMed Travel Job ID #1418336 Responsibilities Evaluate and monitor patients in ICU setting. Provide direct care to patients in life‑threatening situations, document and provide physician‑directed care, assess and implement patient care plans, delegate as appropriate. Provide education and support to patient families, including for long‑term care needs. Provide basic bedside care. Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions. Order and evaluate diagnostic tests; take samples for lab work, order corresponding lab work, and interpret reports. Monitor and adjust specialized equipment; interpret and record electronic displays. Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads, and tubing. Communicate patients' conditions to family members. Requirements 1–2 years recent acute‑care experience. ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS certification. Additional certifications may be required before assignment. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds routinely; patient lifting up to 50 pounds may be required. Ability to work in environments with exposure to certain chemicals or infectious diseases and treat patients who may be confused, agitated, or uncooperative.
