Vice President of DATA ENGINEERING Leads and manages a team of data science professionals, collaborating with stakeholders and the practice lead on data-based initiatives. Responsibilities Provide vision and direction for the data science team, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and prioritize data-driven opportunities that align with the company's goals. Develop and execute the data science roadmap, ensuring the application of advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence techniques to extract valuable insights from complex and diverse data sets. Establish and maintain industry-leading practices for data governance, data quality, and data privacy. Promote a data-driven culture within the organization, fostering collaboration and innovation, and leveraging data to create competitive differentiation and drive business growth. Collaborate with the Data Science Practice lead regarding initiatives that require more resource-intensive modeling and automation. Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree, First Degree, Trade/Vocational School certificate or Equivalent required. Degree in Data Science or Engineering discipline preferred.
