Overview Part Time Biology Instructor (Anatomy & Physiology; General Biology) Wharton County Junior College Salary: See Position Description Job Type: Faculty Part Time Job Number: 2202 F 011 Location: WCJC Sugar Land and Richmond Campuses, TX Department: Academic Instruction's Area Closing: Continuous General Description Evening positions available at the WCJC Richmond and Sugar Land Campuses. Pay is $800 per equated pay hour per semester. Openings available for summer, fall, and spring academic terms. The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his/her discipline. Supervision is received from appropriate supervisor. The faculty member works to insure that his/her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students. Responsibilities Provide effective instruction in Biology (Anatomy & Physiology; General Biology) and ensure instructional needs of students are met. Work under the supervision of an appropriate supervisor to deliver course objectives and outcomes. Requirements Minimum of a Master’s Degree (in Biology or other discipline) with 18 graduate hours in Biology. Criminal background check is required.
