About the Position

Job Title: Radiology Tech Profession: Allied Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2 years of acute care experience required; trauma facility experience preferred License: Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT-R Must-Have: General X-ray imaging skills, C-arm experience, EPIC experience Description: Seeking a Radiology Tech to join our team. The facility has a large volume of patients, averaging 350-400 per day. The department features multiple X-ray suites with both fixed and portable equipment. Candidates should have experience imaging adults and pediatrics as well as high acuity patients. The role involves rotating between different X-ray areas, including the emergency department and operating room. Comfort with trauma patients and a variety of imaging exams is essential. Strong communication skills and a helpful, team-oriented attitude are preferred. There may be opportunities to precept X-ray students depending on experience. Support is available from a lead tech and managers, along with other Radiology Techs on duty. Technology utilized includes an EMR system and various imaging equipment. Travelers will work the agreed-upon shifts throughout the contract. The department fosters a culture of collaboration and high clinical skill sets in a fast-paced environment.
