Space Solutions Architect

Space Solutions Architect As a Space Solutions Architect, you will support Combatant Commands and Service Components by identifying technology-based solutions for capability gaps, coordinating with counterparts across geographies, and synergizing where possible. Responsibilities Identify technology-based solutions for capability gaps in space and joint mission areas. Coordinate with counterparts across different geographies and maturate joint concepts of operations. Advise senior leaders on space capabilities and their applicability in the region. Research, develop, and present materials for senior DoD leadership. Organize, train, and equip functions including JCIDS activities, Analyses of Alternatives (AoAs), and concept of operations. Engage in defense acquisition processes and support the acquisition lifecycle. Qualifications Experience with space within the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community as a Commissioned Officer, Senior NCO, or Contractor. Experience supporting Combatant Commands or Service Component Commands. Experience researching, developing, organizing, and presenting materials for senior DoD leadership. Experience with Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) activities, Analyses of Alternatives (AoAs), and concept of operations. Knowledge of DoD requirements and acquisition processes. Clearance: TS/SCI required. Bachelor’s degree required. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Nice If You Have Leadership experience on a Joint or Service Staff. Experience using analytical tools to display impacts of capability tradeoffs (e.g., CAMEO, DAF DEE). Experience performing risk analyses and proposing risk mitigations. Experience with joint exercises. Experience with technical writing and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Graduate of an Advanced Military Studies program (e.g., SAMS or JAWS). Compensation The projected annual salary range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 USD.
