Tooling Maintenance Technician

Extrusion Tooling MaintenanceJOB SUMMARY: To clean, maintain and prepare the extrusion tooling to the required standard for production.PRIMARY DUTIES:Clean and inspect extrusion tooling (Components) according to VEKA Policy/ProceduresDisassemble extrusion tooling and insure proper assemblyPerform Maintenance on extrusion tooling as directedDisassemble purged-in diesPolish die, templates, and calibration as neededCommunicate wear and damage to immediate supervisorMaintain a clean and safe work environmentOperate Reach truck as neededSECONDARY DUTIES:Assist supervision and tooling maintenance personnel.All other duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Mechanical Aptitude, Oral Communication, and Accuracy.
