Water Services Leader (Conveyance)

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Water Services Leader (Conveyance) to lead the Geography development and delivery of water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance engineering and advisory services to Water Sector clients. The role will focus on urban-scale and regional water infrastructure, supporting clients in delivering sustainable, resilient, and climate-adaptive solutions. The role will work closely with the Geography water business leader to respond to business opportunities arising from the business development work, secure work and lead delivery of the project scope.As a leader of the engineering team, tasks will cover all aspects of the design and production of water piping, pumping systems and associated equipment and controls. The role will include reviewing / updating both hydraThe OpportunityKey Tasks• Local business planning and service development for Water Infrastructure and Conveyance Services• Client development and relationship management with public and private sector clients• Support to marketing, lead generation and support of proposal and pursuit activities• Support to winning new work and securing repeat business• Leading engineering and consulting assignments (small and large scale)• Technical leadership in water (drinking, waste, storm) conveyance• Integration of climate change adaptation into conveyance infrastructure planning• Project planning, delivery and management• Leadership of discipline project teams• Supervision, mentoring and development of junior staff• Report writing and preparation of technical outputsAt Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary.
