IOP Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Madison, Mississippi outpatient center to perform blood collections, process specimens, enter patient data, and provide customer service. The role operates Monday-Thursday 7am-4pm and Fridays 7am-12pm, with opportunities for growth and performance-based bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other analyses
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately and timely
- Process billing information, collect payments, and prepare specimens for testing
- Provide superior customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
- Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or current certification
- Ability to pass color blindness screening test
- Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven customer service track record
