Clinica Recovery LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to enhance our homecare team in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey. Work Environment

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work onsite at both our Surgical Center and within patients' homes, providing a dynamic work setting that combines clinical practice with homecare. Our environment promotes flexibility and adaptability, as you’ll be frequently traveling to different patient locations. This role requires the use of your own reliable vehicle for home visits, enabling you to deliver direct care in a comfortable and familiar atmosphere for patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in executing personalized treatment plans, which may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities for pain relief.
• Conduct functional training aimed at enhancing patients' mobility and strength, while also focusing on balance and coordination.
• Monitor and document patient progress regularly, and communicate changes or concerns with the supervising Physical Therapist to ensure optimal care adjustment and continuity.
• Educate patients and their family members on exercises, techniques for mobility improvement, and health maintenance strategies to promote independence.
• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to ensure patient comfort and safety throughout therapy sessions.
• Maintain all necessary documentation accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with health records standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those managing chronic conditions such as arthritis or neurological disorders, and patients in need of post-operative rehabilitation. Your care will directly contribute to their recovery goals, offering them a chance for renewed independence and improved health outcomes in the familiarity of their own homes.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in New Jersey is required.
• An accredited degree from a Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation necessary to travel to patient homes.
• A strong commitment to patient-centered care with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing a caseload efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in home health or outpatient settings is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems could be advantageous for documentation purposes.

Compensation and Benefits

Clinica Recovery LLC offers a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000 based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits that include mileage reimbursement for travel between patient homes. Flexible scheduling options are provided to accommodate full-time, part-time, or per diem arrangements.
