Quality Lab Inspector

Job Description

Immediately hiring a Quality Lab Inspector for a large manufacturing company in San Antonio. This position requires a strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint interpretation, precision measurement equipment, and quality inspection processes. Please call/text View phone number on ziprecruiter.com

Pay is $27-$35/hr.

Schedule is Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Duties:

Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of raw and machined manufactured components.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD models to create accurate inspection routines
Apply and interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Validate measurement data and generate detailed inspection reports.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve dimensional and process-related issues.
Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality concerns via dimensional result interpretation.
Maintain calibration awareness and proper care of inspection equipment.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience using quality inspection equipment.
Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-up principles.
Familiarity with CAD software and CAD model-based programming.
Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Experience using precision measuring instruments
