About the Role
The Company is in search of a Market Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to provide executive leadership and strategic direction for nursing and clinical care across its Quad Cities market. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading initiatives to advance quality, safety, and patient experience, with a focus on strengthening performance and optimizing the nursing workforce. This role requires a seasoned nursing executive with a Master's degree in Nursing, current RN licensure, and a proven track record in progressive nursing leadership within a hospital or health system environment. The CNO will be expected to lead and develop a high-performing nursing leadership team, establish clear expectations for nursing and clinical priorities, and build strong relationships across disciplines to facilitate change and collaboration. Key responsibilities for the Market CNO include partnering with the Market Chief Medical Officer and other senior leaders to advance organizational performance, leading clinical initiatives from strategy to implementation, and contributing to nursing strategy and clinical excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading and developing nursing leaders, as well as a demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and execute strategic priorities. Strong communication, relationship-building, and executive leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to partner effectively with physicians and other senior clinical and operational leaders. The role is pivotal in championing a culture of belonging and ensuring that the nursing and clinical care provided is of the highest quality and safety.
