Physical Therapist Advanced Clinician NYC Sports Focus

HSS Rehabilitation and Performance is a dynamic multidisciplinary team of highly skilled clinicians supported by engaged patient access and rehab technician professionals.

We are seeking an experienced sports physical therapist to join our team at one of our NYC sport rehabilitation locations. Our clinicians treat a large variety of non-operative and post-operative diagnoses and perform evaluations via direct access as appropriate. This dynamic setting offers the opportunity for the physical therapist to practice in an environment where the clientele ranges from recreationally to competitively active.

Qualifications:

• Candidates should be strong clinicians in the field of sports physical therapy and have experience and/or interest in staff development, mentoring and education.
• Candidates should excel in communication, teamwork and leadership skills.
• Candidates must have at least 3 years' experience, with outpatient clinical expertise emphasizing differential diagnosis, examination, and treatment of various musculoskeletal pathologies of the spine and extremities, both non-operative and post-operative.
• New York State licensure is a requirement. APTA certifications such as SCS or OCS are preferred.
