Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Philadelphia, PA

Specializing in nuclear medicine imaging, this contract opportunity lets skilled professionals contribute to patient diagnosis and care within a collaborative medical team. Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Varied day shifts: 6:30 AM-3:00 PM, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, or 8:30 AM-5:00 PM

Qualifications:

• Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or ARRT-NM)
• Valid state licensure as required
• Proven experience operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment (Gamma cameras, PET scanners, SPECT, etc.)
• Current BLS certification
• Strong understanding of radiation safety standards and compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals based on physician orders
• Operate nuclear medicine equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Adhere to radiation safety regulations and facility protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
• Collaborate with physicians to deliver timely and precise imaging results
• Participate in equipment maintenance and quality assurance processes
