Shipping and Receiving Associate

Summary/Objective*The Driver/Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for safely transporting materials, products, or equipment to and from designated locations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining company standards and assisting inshipping and receiving materials and finished products from the facility.• Essential FunctionsSafely operate company vehicle to transport goods or materialsFollow assigned routes and schedulesLoad and unload items as neededInspect vehicle before and after tripsMaintain accurate delivery and mileage recordsAssists with moving, staging, and organizing materials as needed.Supports shop staff with general tasks and workflow requirements.Ensure shop equipment and work areas are clean and orderly.Assist with routine maintenance tasks when requested.Perform other duties as required or assignedCompetenciesValid driver licenseCommunicationOrganization.Supervisory ResponsibilityNoneWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
