Service Advisor (Clarksburg)

Job Overview We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through vehicle maintenance and repair processes. This role requires strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Experience in dealership or automotive repair environments is highly preferred. The Service Advisor plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction while maximizing service sales and upselling opportunities. Duties Greet customers promptly and professionally, establishing a welcoming environment Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues and maintenance needs Communicate effectively with technicians regarding repair requirements and timelines Provide detailed explanations of recommended services, repairs, and costs to customers Sell additional services or maintenance based on customer needs and vehicle requirements Prepare service estimates, work orders, and invoices with attention to detail Follow up with customers regarding vehicle status and ensure their satisfaction upon completion of services Assist in maintaining a clean and organized service department environment Skills Proven experience in an automotive service environment is highly desirable Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of automotive repair processes Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Sales skills with the ability to sell services tactfully and effectively Ability to build rapport with customers and foster trustful relationships Good organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism Experience with Protractor Software would increase compensation above posted Benefits Dental care Disability insurance Extended health care Life insurance In office parking Store discount Vision care Application Question(s) Do you currently live within a one hour commute of Clarksburg Do you have experience with Protractor Software?
