Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, alternating weekends) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in an acute care setting
• Manage a patient assignment in accordance with unit staffing ratios
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using the facility's EMR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Mississippi (or compact equivalent)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Experience with Cerner EMR required
• Must maintain a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Comfort working within a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio environment
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and facility protocols
