Travel Acute Care Physical Therapist - $2,414 per week

Position Overview MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an assignment in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Start date: 06/22/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 40 hours per week. Shift: 8‑hour days. Employment type: Travel. Responsibilities Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, providing direct patient care to evaluate medical condition and functional capabilities. Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals based on patient capacity and tolerance under physician direction. Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record patient condition, and educate patients and families. Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient. Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions. Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient. Qualifications Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy with NPTE passing. Graduated from an accredited school. Minimum one year of experience. Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist/PT or actively in the licensure process. Current CPR certification.
