Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Charge Nurse for our Neuro PCU unit. The ideal candidate must possess charge experience and expertise in a progressive care unit setting. The nurse will be responsible for overseeing unit operations during their shift, ensuring high-quality patient care, and leading a team of nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the nursing team.
• Administer medications and treatments per established protocols.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the health care team.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EMR (Meditech).
• Support clinical staff in delivering quality care to patients in neuro PCU.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have valid RN licensure.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Experience in Progressive Care Unit required.
• Neuro competency is highly preferred.
