Gain competitive compensation and benefits aligned with your expertise.Job DescriptionProject Manager OverviewThe Project Manager role offers a dynamic opportunity to lead architectural projects across various market segments, including educational and municipal developments.Collaborate with a mid-sized architecture and engineering firm, leveraging a strong support structure and experienced professional team.Engage in the technical development of schematic designs, construction documents, and project specifications for publicly bid projects.Work closely with A/E staff and consultants to manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality and timely deliverables.Participate in client and contractor meetings, fostering effective communication and collaboration throughout project phases.Contribute to a hybrid work environment, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities for optimal productivity.Utilize proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT to create detailed architectural designs and construction documentation.Benefit from a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, aligned with your experience and expertise.Project Manager Key Responsibilities & DutiesLead project teams, providing direction, scheduling, and budget assessments to meet deliverable milestones effectively.Manage small teams of architects, designers, and draftspeople, ensuring seamless collaboration and productivity.Develop project designs and drawings for presentations, contributing to conceptual development phases.Prepare NJDOE project applications, amendments, and long-range facility plan updates for educational projects.Survey job sites, document existing conditions, and create detailed field memos for project planning.Generate project reports, cost estimates, feasibility studies, and other essential documents for various project phases.Coordinate with design team members, senior management, and external consultants throughout design and construction processes.Attend meetings, including pre-design, plan review, and pre-construction, to ensure project alignment and progress.Oversee construction administration processes, collaborating with in-house teams and external stakeholders.Project Manager Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent educational background is required.Licensed Architect or aspiring to be licensed, with 7-10 years of relevant experience.Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT, with a preference for REVIT expertise.Experience in K-12, higher education, and municipal projects is highly desirable.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for project documentation and communication.Valid driver’s license with a good driving record for site visits and client meetings.Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
