The Before & After School Program Coordinator is responsible for overseeing a small team in delivering a flexible, engaging program for elementary school children. This role involves planning activities, coordinating staff and volunteers, managing enrollment, and ensuring safety. The coordinator communicates with parents as needed to support a positive program experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule after-school activities tailored for elementary students
• Coordinate and support a small team of 1-5 program staff
• Manage enrollment and track participant attendance
• Communicate with parents as needed to address questions and updates
• Ensure safety and supervision standards are maintained during program hours
• Organize and oversee volunteers supporting the program

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in youth program coordination
• Skills in program management and child supervision
• Strong communication, time management, and conflict resolution abilities
• Organizational skills and team leadership experience
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus
