Steward Position at Willows Lodge

Willows Lodge is looking for an experienced and dependable Steward to join our culinary team. Our Stewards play an important role in keeping our kitchens organized, efficient, and ready to deliver the level of service our guests expect.

This position supports culinary operations throughout the property, including Barking Frog, Fireside Lounge, banquets and special events. We re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the pace of a professional kitchen, and knows that a strong Stewarding team keeps the entire operation moving.

What You'll Do

• Maintain clean, organized, and efficient dish and kitchen areas throughout the shift
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Keep dish machines clean, stocked, and operating properly
• Maintain appropriate levels of soap, sanitizer, chemicals, and cleaning supplies
• Clean floors, mats, worktables, equipment, refrigeration areas, and other kitchen surfaces
• Maintain trash and recycling areas throughout the shift
• Maintain the employee dining area and assist with employee meal setup and cleanup
• Move and organize supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
• Support chefs and culinary employees with cleaning, organization, and operational needs
• Work collaboratively with the Stewarding and Culinary teams to keep service running smoothly
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in Stewarding, dishwashing, culinary, hospitality, or a similar fast-paced environment preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse team
• Strong work ethic and attention to cleanliness and organization
• Ability to manage priorities and stay productive throughout the shift
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and consistent attendance
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Ability to stand and move throughout the shift and lift up to 50 pounds
• Current Washington State Food Worker Card, or ability to obtain one
• Must be at least 18 years old

Compensation & Benefits

• $23.00-26.00/hour + tips
• 401(k) with employer match after one year of eligible service
• PTO accrual based on hours worked
