City : DestrehanState : Louisiana (US-LA)Country : United States (US)Requisition Number : 43062A Day in the Life:The Lead Production Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient day-to-day assigned Crush, Refinery, Milling or Packaging production operations department. Support the Manager of Production Operations in monitoring and improving plant productivity. Position Details:12-hour rotating shift (48 hour week/36 hour week)What You’ll Be Doing:Cultivate a safety culture where unsafe acts are not tolerated and employees and management have a common goal of zero injuries.Oversee assigned department production shift activities (crush, refinery, milling, packaging, warehouse, boiler house, and/or elevator) to ensure operations are running at the highest levels of efficiency. Ensure assigned department is compliant with sanitation requirements. May provide support in the monthly sanitation inspections and implementation of any corrective actions as necessary.Track and report shift productivity improvements.Approve daily reports and KPRs for the assigned department. Report and trouble shoot operations issues.Support Process Safety Management programs, where applicable.
