Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification and licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with psychoeducational assessment, intervention, and counseling for a diverse K-12 student population
  • Strong knowledge of special education law, evaluation procedures, and IEP process
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
  • Flexibility and initiative to work independently across multiple campuses

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and participate in eligibility determinations
  • Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and Section 504 plans
  • Consult with educators and parents to recommend strategies for academic and behavioral success
  • Travel between schools to provide services and consultation, with mileage expenses covered
