ANTICIPATED - SPECIAL EDUCATION SUPERVISOR

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Supervisor to join our leadership team.

Position Summary:

The Special Education Supervisor provides leadership, coordination, and support for special education programs and services across the district. This role ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, supports teachers and staff in meeting the needs of students with disabilities, and collaborates with families to promote student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and monitor special education programs to ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and state regulations.
• Supervise and evaluate special education teachers, related service providers, and paraprofessionals.
• Develop and implement instructional programs and interventions for students with disabilities.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and ensure that individualized plans are implemented effectively.

Education and/or Experience:


Master's Degree, minimum of five years teaching experience in special education.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:


Valid Pennsylvania Administrative Certification or other certification deemed appropriate by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
