Full-Time School SLP for Teens — Houston Area

Job Description Job Description Looking for a rewarding contract opportunity in the Houston area supporting middle and high school students? A leading school district needs a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This important, on-site position serves grades 6-8 or 10-12, depending on your preference, providing direct therapy, evaluations, testing, and ARD participation. Enjoy a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week) and manageable caseloads of 50-60 students while making a real difference in students’ communication and educational progress. Qualifications: Active Texas SLP license and Florida licensure required (please include an image of your license when applying) Experience in school settings, particularly with middle and high school age groups, is preferred Capable of managing full-scope SLP responsibilities: therapy, evaluations, ARDs, and testing Strong communication, organization, and collaborative abilities Ability to complete all district credentialing, including FBI fingerprinting if not already on file Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech and language therapy to assigned student caseload Conduct evaluations and prepare detailed progress reports Participate in ARD/IEP meetings as a valued interdisciplinary team member Coordinate and communicate with educational staff and parents Tailor intervention strategies to meet individual needs of diverse learners Enjoy the opportunity to make a positive impact while working in an engaging, student-centered environment.
