Job Summary And Qualifications Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients. Verify prescribed treatment dose before treatment, verify fields to be treated and angles to be used. Assure placement of protective devices to shield otherwise healthy exposed tissue of patients. Place and immobilize patient to ensure accurate treatment. Maintain constant visual and intercom contact with the patient during treatment to assure patient remains in the proper position. Observe patient for unusual reaction and report any abnormal conditions to the radiation oncologist. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. (ARRT-T) Radiation Therapy. Associate Degree. No Travel Required.
