Dietary Aide (Dishwashing Focus)

Responsibilities:

• Perform dishwashing duties, including washing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment while maintaining sanitation standards throughout the dietary department.
• Prepare, cook, and serve meals in accordance with dietary requirements and preferences.
• Assist with food preparation and sanitation tasks.
• Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Interact with residents in a friendly and compassionate manner.
• Assist with other dietary department duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food service, dishwashing, or healthcare preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain).
