Typical four 10-hour daylight weekday shifts, plus weekend and holiday rotation:

• Monday & Wednesday: Smethport
• Tuesday & Thursday: Shinglehouse
• Weekend & Holiday Rotation: Inpatient coverage

Schedule Highlights

• Weekdays: Outpatient care with consistent daytime hours
• Weekends: Inpatient coverage on a rotating basis (approximately every 89 weeks)
• Holidays: Rotating inpatient coverage (excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas)

What You'll Do

As a Staff Physical Therapist, you will:

• Evaluate patients and perform comprehensive initial assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed
• Educate patients and families on recovery, prevention, and home programs
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care

Additional Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical instructor for students, residents, or fellows
• Maintain licensure through ongoing professional development
• Supervise and collaborate with Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs)
• Support coverage needs across treatment areas as needed
• Complete accurate, timely documentation of all patient care services
• Participate in staff meetings, education sessions, and continuous improvement efforts

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) .

Licensure, Certifications & Clearances:

• Active Physical Therapy license in the state of practice is required.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire , following AHA standards (must include both classroom and hands-on components).

• Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Physical Therapist (PT)
• Act 33 with renewal
• Act 34 with renewal
• Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
