Licensed Practical Nurse – Dahlonega, GA

**Local Pay: $38.88/hour - (W2) **

Travel Package:

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hourly $18.09, Stipend (Lodging $518.00 + M&I $350.00) = $868.00,

Total Comp: $1,519.24

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay

Shift Details:

• Varied schedule to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Complete admission procedures, paperwork, orientation, and urinalysis collection.

• Search client belongings and dispose of prohibited items.

• Administer and read tuberculosis skin tests.

• Document assessments, treatment plans, physician’s orders, progress notes, and client records.

• Provide direct care and monitor clients for intoxication, withdrawal, and changes in condition.

• Provide medically monitored detoxification and withdrawal management under nursing supervision.

• Maintain a safe, hygienic environment and accurate medical documentation.

• Update Medication Administration Records (MARs) and administer prescribed medications.

• Direct and supervise technicians during assigned shifts.

• Develop treatment plans addressing clients’ medical needs.

• Provide emotional support, counseling, and guidance.

• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality, comprehensive care.

• Refer clients to appropriate external services when needed.

• Maintain professional boundaries and appropriate client interactions.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Minimum Qualifications: **

• Must hold an unrestricted LPN license in the state of Georgia.

• Requires current certifications in CPR, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens.

• Prefer 1 year of detox, emergency or med-surge nursing experience preferred.

• Prefer working knowledge of medical detoxification for substance abuse.

• Knowledge of the signs and symptoms of substance intoxication and withdrawal including pharmacological factors.
