About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years minimum in specialty required License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience in Urology, Gynecology/Oncology, kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, and robotic surgery. Previous charge experience preferred. Description: This is a Tier 5 position focusing on GYN and GU specialties. Candidates must have experience with kidney transplants, Da Vinci Xi robotic surgery, hysterectomy, and urological robots. Procedures include nephrectomy, HOLEP, cystectomy, ureteroscopy, laparoscopic Gynecology, anterior/posterior repair, and abdominal hysterectomy. Call rotation and weekend coverage are required. Candidate must be skilled in various surgical techniques including specimen handling and infection control. Experience with the Epic charting system is mandatory. Pass/fail testing will be required with strict passing criteria on telemetry exams.
