As a valued Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact across multiple school communities within Prince William County, focusing on the Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge areas.

This contract role begins August 24, 2026, and continues through June 11, 2027, offering consistent weekday hours—35 hours per week, structured as seven-hour days. This schedule allows you to truly connect with students, collaborate with educational teams, and make a lasting difference throughout the academic year.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Degree in Communications, Speech, or Communication Disorders is required
• SLPA licensure is not required for practice in Virginia
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus
• Strong interpersonal communication skills 
• Collaborative spirit and adaptability within multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language services under the supervision of certified SLPs
• Assist with therapy sessions, progress monitoring, and documentation
• Engage and motivate students to achieve their communication goals
• Collaborate with educators and families to promote student success
• Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
