An established real estate management company is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join its finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of property management accounting. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls. Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors. Manage cash flow reporting and bank reconciliations. Collaborate with property managers and senior leadership on financial performance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; prior experience in real estate or property management strongly preferred.
