Job Details Position: Travel Speech Language Pathologist Location: Ashland, VA Start Date: 07/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per Week: 40, 5x8 days Employment Type: Travel (Contract/Temporary) Job ID: a0xVt00000OFYBhIAP Responsibilities Play an important part in helping patients recover and improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities. Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to records. Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements. Handle responsibilities in accordance with the company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable professional standards, and state/federal laws. Qualifications Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist. Graduate of a master’s level program accredited by Education Standards Board or meeting ASHA certification requirements. At least 2 years of SLP experience. Independent decision‑making skills. Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families. Strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety; compassionate and sensitive; critical thinker and responsive in emergencies.
